Happiness
Even in the same area for most of my childhood I grew up with contrasting weather.
Almost every door gives banks on the door offers summer (that would Gunny Ganoo) Muskogee burst and flood through the paddocks to our house. If we are not quick enough with sand bags, would flow in the interior. Fortunately, there are often approached by farmers further warnings of floods.
My parents evacuated as a rule, to put it to us. It was common for the local newspaper published pictures of our four children on the tractor, which is used by the floods to safety.
Our next house was hit by severe drought, lasting much of the decade. Although school-tip to the beach with their families, spent our holidays are behind the backs of our horses in the scorching summer heat, herding the sheep when fed on the sides of roads. There was nothing to eat to keep them in our pastures.
Ponds dried up and the fountain was so low that the structure is not pumping more water. We hauled bucket after bucket of water on a rope in the filled trays. We were not fast enough even for animals. They would drink it before we had started up to the next bucket. It was a long process.
Finally, water had to be bought by the truck. Around the same time, we were marched to church for special services to rural areas is to pray for rain. As a teenager, was a long, boring stint of time.
Of course it would be quite a child on a tractor transporting displaced by floods in the church to pray for rain, or to eat peanut butter sandwiches on their holiday spending, and green cordial drink on horseback, fighting with the flies for their lunch.
As a result, I have absolutely grown to ask for rain. Life in the Tropics, at the same time, a dream, with severe fixed rain every day for months. I never tired of it.
Look out the window now I see the river flowing well. The sound of rain on the tin roof is the sky, and frogs sing new songs.
I know all the floods and the damage they cause people in its path. I do not wish such misfortune on anybody. But there is rain anyway, so if you do not have to take into account the safety of your family, so why not just overwrite it?
We are blessed to have access to clean water. As Westerners, we have it easy. Check out our fellow humans and how difficult a simple thing like a glass of clean, safe water to. People's entire life revolves around the basics of survival, always enough food and water to cycle through each day.
Singing the rain on the roof is always one that feeds me. Living under a tin roof again, instead of a tile is, in the truest sense of the word glory. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude this wonderful rainy afternoon.
So before you complain about the rain, or if you complain to someone else to fight, here are some points that should be considered.
Without rain:
1. We would be thirsty. Nothing that we would not exist without water.
2nd We would be smelly. Could swim without showers or water, we get a bit rough on the nose before too long.
3rd We would be very sunburned. No rain means no trees grow. No trees means no protection. Although mud houses that you will not be conducted without solvent.
4th There would be no flowers. What would a world without such a beauty? I shudder to imagine a life without those kisses color.
5th We would all rather quiet. With nothing to drink, could not get a dry mouth and saliva. Discussions would certainly not more, that if no solution had been replaced.
6th We would be hungry. No rain means no vegetables and other delicacies for healthy food. Or for meat eaters, that does not mean some plants to feed the animals to survive and no water for them yet.
7th We had no excuse to stay home unexpectedly. Many people can not stay home if they give themselves permission. Rain tends to make it for certain.
8th We would be mighty uncomfortable to the eye. Since our bodies are mostly water, if not replaced, we would shrink pretty quickly ... if we managed to live so long, what we do not. But if we did, we would like to crop a. Not that there would be a plum, compare us. No rain, no plums.
9th We would have no rainbow, one of the biggest losses of all. How can the sky to show us his magic within reach without water?
10th We would be dead, simple as that, and within a short time.
I prefer to enjoy on rainy days. There is not much I love more than anything to see cleaned, listen to the sound of falling rain, and unfold to see the natural world, as it has done for millions of years, long before we came together and began to complain of any clear, Wet Stuff falls from heaven.
Let us give thanks for the rainy days. The sun will shine again. But we need rain.
We should focus on the blessings of rain, rather than imagined discomfort of it.
There is a vitality that we can not survive without.
And what's so bad about moving on foot in the rain?
You may even find yourself jumping into a pool of water now and then. But be careful ... it can be fun.
